Write for the Magazine

In our mostly digital age, an industry PRINT magazine has to justify its existence. We need Speaker Magazine to truly provide member value. For that to happen, we must provide a monthly magazine that is provocative, savvy, professional, relevant, occasionally quirky and applicable.

That means content that creates a reaction. Articles have sharp elbows. Take a stance. Provide clear positions. Features show successful, working speakers making bold choices to evolve their speeches and businesses. We showcase multiple business models and key transition points in business cycles. We’ll know SPEAKER magazine is providing member value when members look forward to receiving it and immediately reading it.

Join the team creating compelling, actionable content
Speaker Magazine accepts article queries for consideration in upcoming issues of Speaker. We will respond to let you know we received your query. If your story idea fits the magazine’s editorial needs, our editorial team will follow up with an assignment letter. Please do not submit completed stories before you receive an assignment letter, as that letter will guide the length and direction of your story and suggest angles that will best work for Speaker magazine. We include articles that cover:

  • DELIVER – keynoting, training, writing, facilitating, coaching, consulting and other ways of delivering your expertise
  • MONETIZE – marketing, selling, leverage and scale and other ideas for making money
  • SUPPORT – designing, building and operating the business

You may not have all the answers, yet. If you have not thought through additional resources, for example, leave that section blank. Give us enough to get intrigued and want more, see how it might fit, and make sure it is not already covered. We’ll get back to you for more if needed.
